Swimart, a leading provider of pool care products and services in Australia and New Zealand, has been a trusted name in the industry since 1983. Known for their commitment to customer care and expert advice, Swimart recognized the need to revamp their online presence to match their reputable offline services. The existing website was outdated and not reflective of Swimart’s industry leadership or customer-centric approach.
Objective
Swimart sought to overhaul their website to create a vibrant, engaging, and user-friendly online platform. The goal was to enhance the digital experience for customers, streamline access to products and services, and also cater to the needs of franchisees and potential franchisees.
Approach
Evolut undertook a comprehensive digital strategy that started with mapping out diverse customer journeys to accommodate various user types, including end-users, franchisees, and potential franchisees. Extensive ideation sessions were conducted to explore all possible digital engagement opportunities. The strategy aimed to transform the Swimart website into an engaging, informative, and functional resource that reflected the brand’s market position.

They worked with us through that. Additionally, we're impressed with their strategy. They didn’t intend to build a site that’d be demolished in a couple of years’ time. Their team is being scalable so they’ll reuse the work that they’ve done previously to build. They don’t have to restart. This shows that they’re being very careful with our money as well. Additionally, we’ve had a great flow in sales. We’ve had $7 million worth of preorders since we went live. This is far exceeding our expectations and targets. The fact that it flowed and worked well without any errors is a win.

One of the primary challenges was to reposition Swimart as a leader in the pool care industry online as they are offline.
To achieve this, AI-enhanced storytelling techniques and brand videos were utilized to craft a compelling homepage experience. A beautiful video alongside narrative content was designed to immediately convey Swimart’s commitment to quality and service, positioning them as a market leader.
Ensuring customers could easily find and understand Swimart’s extensive product offerings was crucial.
A comprehensive product and service catalogue was developed, providing detailed descriptions and specifications for each item. This not only improved product visibility but also enhanced the educational aspect of the shopping experience, helping customers make informed decisions.
To enhance customer interaction and convenience, particularly for those looking to visit physical stores.
An interactive map and custom directory were implemented to create a dynamic Store Finder feature. This tool allows customers to easily locate their nearest Swimart store and access rich store profiles, which include contact details, services offered, and other relevant information.
Engaging current and potential franchisees required a dedicated approach to highlight the benefits and opportunities of being part of the Swimart brand.
A special section for franchisees was developed on the website, providing targeted information that speaks directly to potential franchise operators. This includes testimonials, financial benefits, training opportunities, and a clear pathway to becoming a franchisee, all designed to attract and convert potential business partners.
Future Outlook
Following the successful launch of the new website, Swimart plans to continue enhancing their digital offerings. Future initiatives include the integration of e-commerce functionalities to allow online ordering and the implementation of a customer loyalty program to further boost engagement and sales.
