Experian, a global leader in information services, provides clients with data and analytical tools essential for business operations. One of their flagship products, Mosaic, was known for its robust capabilities but was hindered by an antiquated and convoluted user interface that limited user engagement and effectiveness. Recognizing the need for a more intuitive design, Experian partnered with Evolut to undertake a comprehensive redesign of the Mosaic interface.

Objective

The main objective was to transform the Mosaic interface into a more user-friendly platform without compromising on its powerful functionalities. The goal was to enhance user engagement and ensure that both power users and those less familiar with the tool could utilize its full capabilities more effectively.

Approach

Evolut’s approach centered on extensive user research to understand the challenges and needs of both power users and occasional users. Insights from this research were critical in developing initial wireframes for the new interface. These wireframes underwent multiple revisions through workshops with stakeholders and continuous feedback from end-users, ensuring that the development was aligned with user needs and expectations.
