Emesent, a global leader in SLAM-based LiDAR mapping, has its roots in a decade of pioneering research at CSIRO. Their flagship product, Hovermap, offers advanced autonomous mapping capabilities designed for challenging and GPS-denied environments. Despite their technical prowess, Emesent recognized the need for a digital presence that matched their industry-leading status and effectively communicated the versatility and efficiency of their solutions.

Objective

Emesent aimed to revamp their website to not only reflect their position as technology leaders but also to enhance user engagement, educate visitors, and drive conversions. The goal was to create a premium website that utilized video, subtle animations, and engaging content to showcase their innovative solutions and facilitate lead generation and sales.

Approach

Evolut partnered with Emesent to undertake a comprehensive online brand refresh, which included a complete redesign of the website. The project focused on making the website more engaging and informative, with a continuous strategy to improve engagement and optimize lead generation and sales processes through ongoing enhancements.

They have a great balance of being both commercial and creative. They’ve got the technical expertise but they really go beyond with the mix of both design and commercial understanding so we can really build something that’ll achieve the desired outcome of the business. They worked with us through that. Additionally, we're impressed with their strategy. They didn’t intend to build a site that’d be demolished in a couple of years’ time. Their team is being scalable so they’ll reuse the work that they’ve done previously to build. They don’t have to restart. This shows that they’re being very careful with our money as well. Additionally, we’ve had a great flow in sales. We’ve had $7 million worth of preorders since we went live. This is far exceeding our expectations and targets. The fact that it flowed and worked well without any errors is a win.

The challenge was to reposition Emesent’s products as industry-leading and ensure the website’s homepage and product pages reflected this status.

The solution involved a complete overhaul of the homepage and product pages to showcase the Hovermap system’s capabilities more effectively. This included the integration of high-quality visuals, detailed product information, and user-friendly navigation to ensure visitors could easily access and understand the benefits of Emesent’s offerings.

To keep pace with rapid product developments and varying campaign needs, Emesent required flexible and effective digital marketing tools.

Evolut developed a customizable campaign template and management system that allows for the quick creation of campaign-specific pages. These pages include integrated calls-to-action to directly support lead generation and conversion efforts.

As many of Emesent’s customers purchase through resellers, it was crucial to streamline the process of finding and connecting with these partners.

A branded, interactive reseller map was introduced on the website, enhancing the user journey by allowing potential customers to easily locate and contact authorized resellers in their region, thus improving the sales pipeline efficiency.
