Recognized globally as a pioneer in automotive protection, Feynlab has set the standard for innovation and product quality. As they continue to push boundaries and expand into new markets and user applications, Feynlab faced the challenge of creating a website that could effectively address the diverse needs of their growing audience, including both professional installers and DIY enthusiasts. Partnering with Evolut, we strategically restructured their online presence around user-centric design, simplifying navigation and enhancing discoverability. This reorganization not only makes it easier for users to find the perfect solutions quickly but also maximizes upsell and cross-sell opportunities, ensuring every visitor interaction is as effective and engaging as Feynlab’s products.

Objective

Feynlab is recognised as a global leader, particularly as it relates to product quality and innovation, but their previous site failed to elevate this and reinforce it. A primary goal for the new website was to ensure that Feynlab looked like the innovation leader it was. Of equal importance was the need to create a platform to support expansion into new industries. While historically automative focused, Feynlab we’re already engaged in Marine and Industrial markets with their eyes set on at least another 3 over the coming years.

Approach

Through refined design, interactivity and rich content we helped elevate the Feynlab brand, giving it a darker and moodier feel with strong technology cues.  We also completely re-thought the Information Architecture and Navigation systems to help support and embrace the inevitable expansion into new industry sectors – starting with Automotive, Marine and Industrial. These became the lead items in the navigation with a fully-fledged mage menu navigation system to support each that is completely configurable. This new approach, coupled with a revitalised store-front and some new support features has helped set Feynlab on the next step in their brand evolution.

They have a great balance of being both commercial and creative. They’ve got the technical expertise but they really go beyond with the mix of both design and commercial understanding so we can really build something that’ll achieve the desired outcome of the business. They worked with us through that. Additionally, we're impressed with their strategy. They didn’t intend to build a site that’d be demolished in a couple of years’ time. Their team is being scalable so they’ll reuse the work that they’ve done previously to build. They don’t have to restart. This shows that they’re being very careful with our money as well. Additionally, we’ve had a great flow in sales. We’ve had $7 million worth of preorders since we went live. This is far exceeding our expectations and targets. The fact that it flowed and worked well without any errors is a win.

A beautiful and compelling homepage, coupled with advanced navigation and enhanced Technology section quickly took Feynlab into their rightful place of market leaders for innovation and quality.

Product Configurator

An additional business objective was to engage a relatively new DIY market that Feynlab had not really engaged in the past. Given many of Feynlab’s professional products are for installers only, we want to make it easy for DIY users to establish the products they needed and support their buying journey online.

To achieve this goal we created an innovative Product Configurator that allowed DIY users to interact with their chosen vehicle (or boat/jetski) to determine the product/s they needed. Upon clicking on the part of the car / use case they were interested in (e.g. Glass Protection) we created product bundles to ensure the DIY users got everything they needed and also maximised purchase opportunity and basket size before checking out.

To help elevate this on their new website, we created a framework where each technology could be easily built out with rich imagery and video and then linked back to appropriate products and insights throughout the website.

Pick your rides, plan your meal breaks, add Q4U, decide whether or not to get early entry. Just about anything you can do in a day, you can add to your planner. And once you’re finished, you can invite all your friends via built-in Facebook functionality. It has everything you need to plan the best day you could imagine at Dreamworld.

The Breaka Island “Summer of Awesome” campaign is the most digitally oriented campaign Parmalat have ever launched. Running continuously over a 2 year period with on pack promotions, sponsorship tie in and the regular introduction of online games and competitions. The campaign was launched on the back of social media drivers achieving over 100,000 You Tube views as part of the launch proving it is possible to drive engagement with next to no media spend. Breaka Island now provides an immersive environment where all brand promotions live increasing the engagement to over 6 minutes per customer.

Pick your rides, plan your meal breaks, add Q4U, decide whether or not to get early entry. Just about anything you can do in a day, you can add to your planner. And once you’re finished, you can invite all your friends via built-in Facebook functionality. It has everything you need to plan the best day you could imagine at Dreamworld.
